The German Shepherd Dog, or Alsatian, is a large sized dog that originated in Germany. The German Shepherd is a relatively new breed of dog, with its origin sourced to 1899. The logo we are looking at, is a silhouette of such a dog's head. Typical features are the pointed ears and open mouth. The silhouette is drawn against a red back ground, boxed in by a rectangle with a flat top colored light brown.
